Sandy has worked in the Food Service Industry for the last 40 years from Garde' Manger, line cook, Fast Food Management to Diet Technician, until finding her niche in School Nutrition.

In Sandy's spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends attending concerts, sporting events and cooking. But her favorite activity is spoiling her 5 awesome grandchildren!

Scott Ziobrowski

Hilton Central Schools

Scott is currently the Food Service Director for Hilton Central Schools. He has been a member of NYSNA serving as an Area Director for the Western Region, Chair of the Area Directors, Conference Committee Member, and Conference Chair of the 66th Annual Conference in 2017. Scott is active in advocating for child nutrition programs and elimination of childhood hunger.

Kim has worked in School Nutrition for 26 years. Her programs have received a variety of best practice awards from The New York State Education Department (NYSED), The New York Office of General Services, and the American Dairy Association. Kim is a Mater Instructor for NYSED Child Nutrition in the areas of Merchandising and Marketing, Standardized Recipes, Production Records, and Financial management. Kim enjoys traveling with her husband Brian and taking walks with her seven year old Shih Tzu, Annie Elizabeth.

I have worked in school food service since 1989.  Before making the jump to schools I was a restaurant manager. My first few years in the school foodservice arena were spent working for a management company. I made the transition to a self- operated district when I took over Somers in 1994. I started serving on the NYSNA executive board as the assistant area director for the Southeast, then became area director. Now I am taking on the role of president of NYSNA; which is a tremendous honor and huge responsibility. I will do my best to fulfill the duties of that position.

Jennifer Martin, MBA

New York School Nutrition Association

Jennifer started her career in association management as the Executive Director of the New York State Builders Association Research and Education Foundation.  She handled the operations management of the Foundation to carry out its mission and strategic objectives.  Specific responsibilities included developing marketing strategies, program planning, developing partnerships, sponsorship acquisition, and all of the accounting/financial duties.   

Jennifer has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Accounting, and a Master's in Business Administration with a Marketing specialization.  Originally from California, she has also lived in South Carolina and New York's own Adirondacks.  Jennifer and her husband moved to the Albany area from Plattsburgh in 2010 to pursue their careers.
