Boot Camp 101 is a 4 hour foundational training designed for school nutrition professionals at all levels. Whether you're onboarding new staff or offering a refresher for your team, this in-person workshop delivers practical, real-world guidance to help staff thrive in the cafeteria.
Trainers will be sent directly to your venue of choice - we have a network of instructors from all around the state ready to head your way and deliver the workshop in-house.

To bring Boot Camp 101 to your district or region, simply fill out our request form below.
- Requirements:
- Requestor must be a NYSNA member in good standing
- Requests must be made at least 60 days in advance of requested date
- Payment or valid purchase order must be submitted 30 days prior to requested date
Once your form is submitted, HQ will follow up to discuss logistics and confirm availability. Your request is not confirmed until we have connected you directly with an instructor.
Cost
The cost to host Boot Camp 101 is $500, which covers:

Full workshop delivery by experienced trainers in-person, at your school!

Up to 10 complimentary NYSNA staff memberships included
- CEU certificates provided to all attendees for credit tracking
- As many attendees as you want! We do not charge per attendee.
If you choose the “invoice me” option at checkout, full payment or a valid purchase order must be received prior to the date of the requested training.
Cancellation Policy
We’d hate for you to miss out on this member benefit, but if you must, cancellations and requests for refunds must be received in writing 30 days before the requested training date. Refunds will be processed less a $50 administrative fee.
Cancellations received within 30 days of requested training date are non-refundable, and any outstanding invoice or registration balance must still be paid in full. No refunds or voided invoices will be issued for cancellations received after this date or for no-shows.
