School Nutrition Leadership & Advocacy Award

Recognizes an NYSNA member whose leadership and advocacy efforts have made a meaningful impact on school nutrition policy, legislation, or government decision-making in New York State. Traditionally presented in conjunction with NYSNA’s Legislative Action Conference, this award honors individuals who actively engage in legislative advocacy and advance child nutrition through public policy efforts.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Current or retired NYSNA member
• Employed by or retired from a school district, BOCES, or food service management company

RECOGNITION:

Plaque presented at the NYSNA Annual Conference
