NYSNA is hosting a FREE Spring Fling workshop for all of our members!

This will consist of an afternoon filled with workshops, NYSED updates and even a little friendly competition for the attendees, we can't wait to see you all there (through your computer screen of course)!

The day will consist of:

12:00-1:20pm                 Welcome & Workshop - Community Food Access – Amalia Swan, Chief Community Impact Officer, Food Bank of Central NY

This program will give attendees an opportunity to learn from colleagues and community partners about how to meet the needs of children and families facing food insecurity in their communities. By the end of the program, attendees will be able to identify best practices, develop strategies to overcome barriers, gain a shared understanding of food access in their communities. The Food Bank of Central New York will help to educate and provide options and opportunities to work with regional food banks or local pantries!

This Program will cover current school year operations, summer 2021 operations, and the school year 2021-2022 operations. NYSED will also be highlighting additional CN initiatives & programs that are operating currently and soon to be operating for all NY School Nutrition Professionals!
